What's actually different about running payroll in Delhi-NCR

Delhi-NCR's headache is borders. One company often has employees in Delhi (no PT), Gurgaon (Haryana PT ₹200), Noida (UP, no PT), and Faridabad (Haryana PT ₹200). They're 30 km apart but on different statutory regimes. StafFixHR computes per-employee per-state — the Form 16 sees one consolidated TDS but the salary slip shows the right PT for each posting. Also: Delhi Shops & Establishment rules, Haryana Industrial Workmen rules, and UP S&E rules all apply to different cohorts of the same payroll.

Can one tenant handle Delhi + Gurgaon + Noida employees?
Yes. Per-employee state-of-posting drives every statutory deduction. Delhi employees: no PT. Gurgaon (Haryana): ₹200/month PT. Noida (UP): no PT. The system never asks you to maintain three separate tenants.
Haryana Professional Tax — is it monthly or annual?
Haryana PT is collected annually, due by 30 September (return + payment). We accrue ₹200/month on the payslip but only file once per year — gross deduction visible in the year-end Form 16.
Different HRA rate for Delhi (50%) vs Gurgaon (40%) employees?
Yes. Delhi is one of the four metros under Section 10(13A) so HRA exemption caps at 50% of basic. Gurgaon is non-metro: 40%. Set per employee posting; auto-reflects in Form 16.
Do you support Haryana State Employee Welfare Board contributions?
Yes for record-keeping. We track and deduct the ₹31 / ₹62 LWF contribution as applicable (currently optional in Haryana for most categories).
How do you handle Delhi's Minimum Wages Act notification updates?
Delhi minimum wages are revised twice yearly (April + October). We push the new slabs as a tenant-level alert — you accept the new rates with one click and they apply from the announced effective date.
Inter-state transfer mid-month — how is payroll split?
Pro-rated. If an employee moves from Noida to Gurgaon mid-month, the days-in-each-state drive the PT calc. Payslip shows two PT lines if applicable; usually netting to the same final amount.
