Configure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, PT)

One-time setup so your statutory returns generate correctly each month.

What needs to be configured

EPF / PF

Settings → Statutory → EPF

  • EPFO Establishment Code (e.g., MH/PUN/12345)
  • Employer share %: 12 (default)
  • Employee share %: 12 (default)
  • Wage ceiling: ₹15,000 (default) — contribution above is voluntary
  • Wage components included in PF calc: Basic + DA (recommended)

ESI

Settings → Statutory → ESI

  • ESIC code
  • Employer share %: 3.25 (default)
  • Employee share %: 0.75 (default)
  • Wage threshold for inclusion: ₹21,000 gross (default)

TDS (Income Tax)

Settings → Statutory → TDS

  • TAN
  • Deductor type (Company / Firm / Individual)
  • Annexure II location for Form 24Q

Professional Tax (state-wise)

Settings → Statutory → Professional Tax

  • Pick your state
  • Slabs auto-populate based on state law

POSH

Settings → POSH

  • Internal Committee members (chairperson + 2 internal + 1 external)
  • Policy effective date
  • Annual report scheduling

After setup

The Statutory Returns page (Compliance → Statutory Returns) will show:

  • PF ECR ready by 15th of the month
  • ESI Challan by 15th
  • TDS Q4 by 30th May (etc.)
  • Form 24Q (quarterly) and Form 16 (annual) auto-generate at month-end / year-end
