Resume for Digital Marketer (India, 2026)

Digital marketing is metric-saturated, and your resume should be too. ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, organic traffic growth, social engagement rate, lead-to-MQL ratio — recruiters expect to see at least 5-6 of these in the top half of your resume. The biggest mistake in this space is listing channels ("ran Facebook ads") without showing impact ("₹84L spent, ROAS 4.2, CAC ₹620"). Lead with the math.

  • Vague claims like "increased traffic" without the baseline or percentage
  • Mixing brand-building work with performance-marketing claims (different jobs, different metrics)
  • Skipping the tools section because "everyone uses Google Ads"
  • Putting certifications above results — "Google Ads Certified" is table stakes, not differentiation
